Our JV team competed at Tribute Golf Course tonight taking on the Evergreens.

Wausau was led by Ella Fabry who tied for 1st with a 50. Other top 10 finishes include:

Tomorrow’s conference meet at Trapp River has been postponed. ☔️ It is rescheduled for Tuesday, September 22. 2:00 Shotgun start. But first we will travel to Stevens Point on Monday to play a conference leg at Wisconsin River GC. JV will be playing an Intrasquad meet at Pine Valley. ⛳️

WVC Leg #5 @ Northern Bay ⛳️☔️

For the second meet in a row, the Wausau Girl’s Golf Team finished in a tie for 1st place. Brooklyn Freiberg led the team tying for 5th place while Breanne Bushong and Anika Creisher tied for 7th. Adee Beversdorf tied for 14th and Emma Brandt tied for 19th.

The next conference leg will be on Friday at Trapp River Golf Course. It will be a 2:00 shotgun start. We will also be honoring our six seniors that day! ⛳️💙🎉🎓🧁

WVC Leg #4 & Marshfield Country Club

Wausau Girls Golf finished the week with another great performance. All varsity players scored in the 40’s which led to a 1st place tie with Marshfield.

JV also had a 1st place finish with a number of players finishing in the top 10.

Varsity and JV will be back in action on Monday, September 14 for WVC Leg #5 at Northern Bay. Shotgun start at 2:00.

JV2 will be traveling to Glacier Wood to play Amherst. Tee times starting at 3:00. ⛳️

Wausau was led by Ruby Thurs and Ali Brandt who both shot a 47.

The Varsity and JV girls golf teams both pulled out close conference victories at Bullseye Country Club.

Anika Creisher and Brooklyn Freiberg led the way for the varsity finishing 3rd and 4th respectively in individual play. Breanne Bushong was 9th, Emma Brandt tied for 10th and Adee Beversdorf tied for 12th.

Ruby Thurs finished 2nd to lead the JV while Addy Creisher finished 4th, Isla Carew 5th, Claire Schroder 6th and Ali Brandt tied for 13th.

JV will host Amherst on Thursday at Trapp River and Varsity and JV will travel to Marshfield on Friday for WVC Leg #4.

These players represented our Wausau Golf Team at the SPASH JV Scramble on Friday afternoon. It was a unique event where each player was teamed up with players from other teams and played a scramble.

Emma’s group took 1st with a 35. 🥇
Cora’s group took 3rd with a 41. 🥉

Great job Sophia, Claire, Cora, Sophia and Emma!! ⛳️

We will host a JV meet next Wednesday at Tribute with tee times starting at 3:30! 🏌🏼‍♀️
