Flag update: Tomorrow is our final games of the season at 6 pm. We will have the battle of the brothers as Team Sawyer (light color jersey) takes on Team Gunnar (dark color jersey) on the away side of the field. On the home side will the battle of the undefeated as Team Caleb (light color jersey) takes on Team Dontae (dark color jersey).
The growth of our players from the beginning of the season to today is amazing. While they put in the work on field I want to thank the parents, guardians, aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters and all of the people who took time out of their day to make sure that they were able to have this opportunity.
I also want to take this moment to thank everyone who has helped on the field this season. We changed things up by having our varsity player really being the coaches this year and I cannot say enough about them. Coming to flag practice after their own practice was not easy. And to Cody Groves, Trevor McDowell, Whitney Stephens and Jared Allman for filling in for our varsity guys, usually on very short notice. None of this would have been possible without you all.
So let’s go out there one more time and play hard, play fast and have fun. Let’s keep stacking days.
