At Summit Martial Arts in Waxahachie we are dedicated to teaching traditional Taekwondo techniques, forms, and self-defense strategies while upholding the core tenets of the martial art: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and an indomitable spirit. Jared Trog, a 4th Dan in Taekwondo, has over two decades of martial arts experience and is passionate about instilling these values in our students.

This weekend Master Trog and his crew did some cross training at Wise Jiu Jitsu for their “Dads on the Mats” Father’s Day event! It was a lot of fun and the kids gained some grappling knowledge.

Today’s tournament was a blast! Master Trog received the 2025 Eagle Award for the Executive Black Belt Men’s division! All of our competitors placed, with Mr. K winning his FIRST 1st place in forms! Great work everyone!
