No Storefront, No Problem: Still Turning Wrenches 05/28/2025

If you’ve been wondering what’s going on with the shop—here’s the full story.

Post and Saddle is closing its storefront—for now. This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one.

The truth is, the bike industry has changed. Prices, online competition, and service misconceptions have made it harder for small, rider-focused businesses to keep a traditional shop open. But that doesn’t mean we’re going anywhere.

We’ve shifted gears and gone mobile for now.

It’s a big change, but in many ways, it’s a return to what Post and Saddle was always meant to be: personal, honest bike service that works around your ride—not the other way around

I’ve written more about the decision and what’s next — check it out here: https://www.postandsaddlebikeco.com/blogs/news/no-storefront-no-problem-still-turning-wrenches

Thanks for riding with us!

Big Changes at Post and Saddle Bike Co.

The shop doors are closing—for now.

Operating costs are rising, the industry’s shifting, and it just doesn’t make sense to keep the storefront open at this time. This isn’t the end—just a sharp left turn on the trail.

Here’s what’s next:

• I’m still fixing bikes.
• I’m going mobile—pickup/drop-off for tuneups and larger repairs, quick repairs done on site.
• We’ll be back in a storefront as soon as it makes sense to do so.

I want to thank everyone who supported the shop—every tune-up, every part order, every “hey man, this thing’s making a weird noise.”

Post and Saddle isn’t gone. It’s just rolling a little different for a while.
Keep riding. Keep supporting local. I’ll be here when it’s time to swing the doors open again. More info coming soon.
