Small class, plenty of details.

Today’s Ladies Noon Class gave us a chance to slow things down and clean up some details on the bicep slicer from half guard we learned during Monday evening’s class.

We also spent some time working on frames from half guard and answering questions as they came up. Sometimes the smaller classes are perfect for digging into the little details! 💪

Kids advanced classes, 6pm

One of our young students made this handwritten flyer for our gym, and honestly, it made our day!

Seeing the kids believe in what we’re building and want to share it with others means more than they probably realize.

“You should really join! We are a family… and you deserve to be a part of it!” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

Thank you for the sweet flyer and for reminding us what Team Wise is all about!

Amazing class today! Everyone pushed themselves and rolled hard. We got a lot of positional sparring in and really put our guard passing to work.
Make sure you don’t miss next Saturday! The work doesn’t stop!

Leg drag pass drills- Monday Night Nogi

09/15/2026

Today’s Ladies Class continued our work from half guard, adding a bump sweep variation from Octopus Guard to get on top and take control.

From there, we worked our way to mount and finished with an arm triangle choke, focusing on the small details that make a BIG difference—tight positioning, eliminating space, and getting the tap without wasting energy. 💪

Building on techniques week to week gives us a chance to understand not just how a move works, but where we can go next when it succeeds.

Another great Tuesday on the mats with the ladies!
