Five different gyms represented today at open mat. All coming together to prep for Master Worlds. Thankful for everyone who showed up to push others. It’s truly the best part of this community! No matter what affiliation, rather you know the people or not, rather you’re competing at masters or not, people show up to push others so they can succeed at their goal. This is not something that you see in every sport, but it consistently happens with jiu jitsu. Jiu jitsu is about so much more than just grappling, it’s about showing up for others and getting 1% better everyday.

Every Sunday come one come all no mat fees, plenty of rolls for male and females. FYI 8 females today from white to purple 1/2 of them were purple belt 2 of the were master worlds champs last year.

Kiddos showed up today 4 kids with a 2nd and a 4th, falcon signed up under highland village and was the only 4 kids competing over all for HV. Super proud of them.

First time falcon kids take to ibjjf. 4 competitors 2 Golds 2 Bronze , 2 of of our competitors worked their butts off and trained for this comp but unfortunately they were solo in bracket and no where to move but they both were ready to go. All our kids put in the work and it showed today!
