Again FALCON Adult Gi showed up in force this weekend taking 3rd in premier academy, third in elite 8, and being large part in solidifying 3rd in overall association under DOUBLE-Five.

That’s a wrap for Summer Camp 2026. What a great time we had watching these kids go from being taught a move ti being the teachers and demonstrating today. They came in everyday with a smile (most did, some had to finish waking up), eager to learn and only took a 20min break for snack and wanted to get back at it. No one complained or gave uo. We are truly blessed to have d the best kids.

Day 4 of camp and kids are still going strong. It cracks me up how they picked up immediately what time was snack time and watch the clock everyday to make sure the Professor stays on track and doesn’t forget. 😂 They also get excited about after snack dodgeball. Love seeing the kids enjoy having so much fun and then reel it back in to pay attention to class. They are learning so much this week and doing great. Tomorrow will be wrapping up the series and having our last day of fun. Looking forward to finishing strong!

Day 3 of camp was all smiles. The kids got to play their favorite, dodge ball. They are doing great and picking up this year’s theme like champs. Better than a lot of adults. Watching them absorb the info like sponges and be able to pull them off is truly inspiring to watch. Big shout out to all the coaches that volunteer their time to working with all the kids. We couldn’t do this without them.

What a great first day of camp! These kids did absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to see how they progress the rest of the week.

Hope all the dads out there have a great day. Thankful for all the Dads in the gym who have stepped up to Coach, be teammates, become friends & family. We are blessed for each and every one of you.

The Waxahachie Police Department proudly congratulates our eight newest officers on their successful graduation from the Hill College Police Academy! This milestone marks the culmination of five months of rigorous training, discipline, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to serving others.

Having completed the academy, these officers have now begun WPD’s two-month Post Academy Training Program, which will be followed by the department’s Field Training Officer Program as they continue their journey toward becoming fully trained police officers.

Please join us in congratulating Officers Alberto Amaya, Katrina Brown, Colton Moody, Craig Penwarden, Estephania Perez, Isabella Richard, Brandon Saucedo, and Amber Swindle. We commend each of you for successfully completing this important first step and for your dedication to a career in law enforcement and public service.
