What an incredible weekend at the EPA D camp at Fair Hill International! 🐴💙
We are so grateful to have spent a weekend learning, growing, and making memories with our Pony Club family. From flatwork and derby lessons to cross-country schooling, Horse Management activities, trail rides, educational discussions, and plenty of laughs shared over meals, every part of the weekend reminded us why Pony Club is such a special community.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing clinician, Courtney Waskiewicz, for your outstanding instruction, encouragement, and patience throughout the weekend. Your ability to meet each rider where they were while helping them build confidence and new skills made the experience invaluable for every horse-and-rider partnership.
We'd also like to thank Stephanie Dahne for sharing her expertise during our saddle fitting presentation, giving our members a deeper understanding of how proper saddle fit contributes to the comfort and performance of our horses.
One of the highlights of the weekend was our early morning visit to the Fair Hill Training Center, where members had the opportunity to watch racehorses train and gain a unique perspective on another side of the equestrian industry. A special thank you to Will and Vicky for sharing your expertise, answering questions, and giving our members such an insightful behind-the-scenes learning experience. Along with our Horse Management games, educational activities, and countless opportunities to learn from one another, the weekend truly embodied the Pony Club mission of developing knowledgeable, caring horsewomen.
A very special thank you goes to everyone in the Eastern Pennsylvania Region (EPA) who worked behind the scenes to organize, coordinate, teach, volunteer, set up, clean up, and support this camp. Events like this take countless hours of planning and an incredible team effort, and we are so appreciative of everyone who gave their time and talents to make this weekend possible.
Finally, thank you to all of our parents, volunteers, instructors, and members who pitched in wherever they were needed. Whether you were helping with meals, organizing equipment, supporting lessons, or simply cheering each other on, you helped create a welcoming, fun, and educational environment for everyone.
We're so proud of all of our riders for embracing every opportunity to learn, encouraging one another, and representing Pony Club with excellent horsemanship, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We can't wait for our next adventure together!
