Wayne Valley Varsity Boys ended their season after an incredible battle against #1-seeded Ramapo. The result didn’t go our way, but their effort, teamwork, and passion were unmatched. So proud of this group of boys and all they accomplished this season. It’s been my pleasure to be a part of it and to capture some special memories for this great group of boys. Going to miss seeing them out on the field! Heads high, boys — what a year it's been! ⚽

Barbota-Castano makes Wayne Valley a winner

Wayne Valley sprung the upset on Tuesday as the 12th-seeded Indians traveled to Allendale and downed fifth-seeded Northern Highlands, 1-0, behind a first half goal from Tristan Barbota-Castano, his fourth of the season. The win is Wayne Valley’s first in the postseason since 2022 as Sebastian Sianozecki made five saves in the shutout, his sixth clean sheet of the year.

What a way to finish the regular season — a 3–0 win over Fair Lawn! ⚽️💙

It’s been such a joy watching these boys do what they love on the field and seeing the way they lift each other up, game after game. The teamwork, dedication, and heart they’ve shown all season has been incredible. I’m so proud of every one of them, and so grateful to have been there to capture a few of those special moments along the way.

Thanks to all the families, friends, coaches and volunteers for helping make it such a memorable season.

The first round of the state tournament kicks off today at 2 PM at Northern Highlands. Wishing our boys the best of luck — go out there and play with the same heart that got you this far.
