I heard of a new scam that a competitor is doing to their members. To avoid the next payment coming out you have to give them a 10-day notice. This is horrible. There’s no reason for a company to do this except to take another payment. They’ll hide behind “it’s a policy” but we all know why they do it.

When I give a tour of the gym most people want to know which of the most common scams we do here. Plot twist. We don’t do any of the scams that are prevalent in the gym industry.

Common scams include but are not limited to:
1. Making it impossible to cancel
2. Enrollment fees
3. 30-day notice to cancel
4. Maintenance fees
5. Charging for key fob
6. In-person cancellation
7. Certified mail traps
8. Sudden price hikes
9. Cancellation fees
10. Bi-weekly billing
11. Connecting your bank account
12. Taking payments post-cancellation
13. Never updating or adding new equipment
14. Never cleaning the gym
15. Overselling memberships

We don’t and will never do any of the scams listed above. We respect our members and will never abuse their trust to make a few extra bucks.

We just ran the numbers last night and we now have 140 total participants with 99 general members and 41 training clients. We can only take 150 people at this location. That means there’s only 10 spots left. You will need to sign up by this weekend. After Saturday we will begin a waitlist for spots. Someone will then need to cancel for a spot to open up.

If I had to describe this gym with one word it would be REAL.

We are a family here at this gym. You’ve never experienced a gym like this before. We have 95% retention rate (industry average 60%).
NO cliques.
NO being fake.
NO crowds.
Come as you are and get to work. Plain and simple.

This is April. She sets the bar at Waynesville Fitness and is laser focused on her goals. April blows me away every session with her intensity, determination, and will-to-succeed. She pushes herself as much if not more than I push her and is a joy to train. April is very strong (530 lb leg press) and has come a long way in a very short period of time. She shows what’s possible for women-in-fitness when you show up and consistently give a great effort. I am excited to see what the future brings for April in weightlifting.
