Poor Man Custom Power Sports

This is a Tao Atv my Kiddo got and it’s been a fun little project for us to work on together. Pulled the stuff out of the muffler and slapped a 22mm Nibbi race carb on it and my kid is having a blast on it. I don’t think I’ll get paid for my work on it. Lol

Got this little Tao Motor G125
Cleaned the carb and used my test battery to start it up. Changed the oil and give a test run or two and it been running great. Had to do some other light repairs on the frame. But it all good now.

1984 Honda ATC 125M
I got this from a guy and it just needed a good carb. I was happy to find out everything works on it. Just missing the pull start but that’s no big deal with it being electric start. I will be posting this up for sale soon

Wanted to see if I could fit a 196cc on a razor. It fit or I made it fit. Had to add some supports to the front to keep it together so I could ride it. It will run about 45mph. It safe……

Now this one started off getting a 212Ghost. It didn’t run like I had hopped. So I pulled that off and put a 250cc off a sport bike JLP250R. With that 15hp and the 5 speed it is a lot of fun and sounds like a car with a open pipe. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to sell this one.

This started off as a Tao Tao 125. I custome fit a 212 Ghost to it and so I could ride it. It would pull the front wheels off the ground and hit a top speed of about 55-60 mph. It was a lot of fun. Sold it to a fellow small engine guy. It was my first custome engine swap.

Got this one with a with a 224cc and the blocked was cracked. Pulled that motor off and put a 212 Ghost with a 24mm Nibbi carb with a pulse pump to keep the gas flowing to it. With that set up I was able to get it to 65mph.

This is how it all started.
I got the frame out of a scrap pile and that 212cc Predator engine. Then I swapped that for a 212cc off a power washer. It would hit about 45mph and wheelie on take off. It sold about a month after completion.
