Our Pilates community/family is growing and I am so thankful for each woman who trusts me to lead their wellness journey!

I’ve had a lot of inquiries lately, so addressing this on social media:

1️⃣What ages take your class?
👉10 years old to 80 years old. Literally the age range. Average age: 55-60 years old. Women of all ages and stages, looking for mobility, strength, and low impact workouts.

2️⃣How long are your classes and do I need to bring anything?
👉Classes are 1 hour in duration. I ask that everyone is in the building 5 minutes before class starts. You do not have to bring anything, unless you have your own mat you’d like to use. Regular attendees can store their mat at the studio if preferred. Non slip socks are also recommended.

3️⃣Where are you located?
👉Inside “Weatherford Martial Arts Studio.” The dojo is private, no other classes or sessions taking place during class times. Address: 111 W. 4th Street Weatherford, TX

I am so blessed to have such a rewarding career. Watching my clients grow in so many areas is so fulfilling.

Today, 7/1, a client I’ve been working with for 3 months hit a PR on both her back squats AND deadlift 👏🏼

Not only did she complete the reps at her highest weight, she did so with improved hip mobility and body mechanics. 💪

In addition to her strength gains and mobility, her VO2Max has improved as she’s preparing for a competitive race in September 👏🏼

So VERY proud 🥹

😴 Sleep…. One of the most underrated needs for overall wellness 😴

🙌🏼I decided to address some of the topics that come up regularly with clients to help YOU as well!

⭐️For today, the talk is SLEEP! 💤

👉Aim for 7-9 hours
👏🏼As you can see, there are SEVERAL benefits to achieving 7-9 hours of sleep each night. Fat loss, muscle gain, hormone stability…. Sleep can affect each of these areas.

But…. What if you struggle to sleep?
….you’re not alone.

🥱 Here are some tips to try to improve your sleep quality:

☑️Establish a CONSISTENT sleep schedule
☑️Keep your room cool (65-70 degrees)
☑️Keep bedroom in total darkness (blackout curtains)
☑️Turn off TV, phone, laptop, etc at least 1 hour before bedtime (limit blue light)
☑️Diffuse lavender essential oil
☑️Avoid caffeine - no caffeine 8 hours before bedtime
☑️Chamomile tea
☑️30 mins of relaxation (bath, read a book, listen to soft music, do light stretches, perform breathing exercises)
☑️Limit liquids before bedtime (if bathroom wake up calls are keeping you up throughout the night).
