Attention Ladies of HSB…
We are trying to get women to start golfing creating a “Ladies golf group” ⛳️ 🧍♀️
Starting on Sunday April 19th

We will be meeting at clubhouse to play @ 1:30
If you are not a member you have to pay green fees to play.

Alternate from the red and then white on all but the par 3 holes that will be played as normal

1. CHILI 🌶️
Each team must enter a pot of chili for judging. At least a 3 pound batch size. Sample to be taken for judging, the rest will be served during tournament . HSB will provide hotdogs and fixings for frito pies.
Depending on the number of entries, the order your chili comes in will help or hurt your overall score
For Example; if there are 10 teams, 1st place will have 6 (5 and 1 additional winning) strokes taken off, 2nd place will have 4, 3rd place will have 3, 4th place will have 2, 5th place will have 1, 6th place will have 0, 7th place will have +1, 8th place will have +2, 9th place will have +3, 10th place will have +5 (4 and 1 additional for last)
Each team will furnish one member for chili judging! Judging will take place after the front nine.
2. GOLF 🏌️♂️
Four person scramble, pick your own team.
Two teams to a hole. Swap scorecards. Protect the field. Record number of shots played only. No circles, squares or other marks.
Do not total. That will be done by the tournament director. This is for your protection. Mistakes will be recorded as the higher of the two scores.
Turn in scorecards after nine holes for flighting purposes.
Men will play white on front nine and blue on the back.
Men 65 to 69 will play black on front nine, white on the back.
Men 70 and older will play red on front nine and black on the back.
Women will play red on front and back nines.
Shotgun start. Whatever hole you start on, you will finish front nine and then start back nine.
For Example; Men starting on hole 4, you will play 4,5,6,7,8,9 from the white and continue 1,2,3 on white and then start blue.
One mulligan per person per tournament.
You must announce in advance if you are taking a mulligan and it must be recorded on scorecard.
We need the names of your teammates as early as possible.
Flights will be determined by the Tournament Director after nine holes. He will be as fair as possible dependent on the scores.
Prize Money will be determined by Tournament Director. He will be as fair as possible dependent on the scoring. The top flight will have the most money even if the aggregate of the bottom flight team is lower. To receive the most money, shoot good enough to be in top flight!
This tournament is for fun!! We will try to accommodate reasonable requests to help you do so. If you cannot have fun under these circumstances, please do not ruin it for others.
