That’s a wrap on the 2026 season! We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came out to spend a day on the Lehigh or the NY Black River with us this season. It was such a fun summer, and we’re grateful for all of the new and returning guests who joined us!

BIG SHOUTOUT to all of the Challengers staff and river guides! We couldn’t do any of this without you.

We’ll be back in May 2027, and trips are available to book early. See you next summer! 🌊

🍂 One last weekend. MEGA DAM RELEASE! 🌊

Whitewater season ends THIS WEEKEND! Saturday’s release hits a max of 2,500 CFS (3X the normal release) and the biggest whitewater of the year.

Come soak up the fall foliage and hit the river one last time. Sunday brings a classic 800 CFS for a great final dam release.

It’s camping season!🏕️ Come camp at our adventure center and spend the weekend rafting and exploring the Poconos. We’re just 30 minutes from Jim Thorpe and close to the Lehigh river along with tons of hiking, parks, & other fall activities.

Then come back to camp, grab some food, take a hot shower, and roast some marshmallows.

Camping is just $14.95/person, with tents available to rent. And if you’re looking for a little more adventure, we’re still rafting until October 10th! (Rafting is not required to camp on site).
