⛳ COURSE CLOSED TODAY – LARRY ROSS MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT

The Links Golf Course is closed today as we are proud to host the Larry Ross Memorial Tournament. We will post an update as soon as the course is back open for public play.

This tournament is especially meaningful to us. Not only does it honor one heck of a man and the legacy Larry Ross left behind, but it also helps provide funding for Webster City Youth Golf, supporting local kids as they learn the game, grow their skills, and continue their own golf journeys.

Youth golf is something we’re incredibly proud to support here at The Links, and we’re honored to be the host course for a tournament that remembers a great man while helping grow the game for the next generation.

What a finish to this year’s Big Money Tournament! After shooting an impressive 17-under par, a three-way tie in the Championship Flight sent us to a playoff, where Av. Fuhs, A. Fuhs, N. Ferrell & D. Fielder came out on top to claim the 2026 Big Money Tournament Championship!

Congratulations to our champions and all of the teams who placed in their flights! Check out the attached results to see who finished in the money.

Supporting youth golf is something we truly enjoy here at The Links, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything Webster City Youth Golf and the Larry Ross Memorial Tournament do to keep growing the game in our community.

The time, effort, and heart that goes into creating opportunities for local kids to learn the game, get out on the course, and build a love for golf does not go unnoticed. We’re just happy to play a small part in it!

Webster City Links Golf Course's support goes far beyond sponsoring this tournament. The Links opens their doors to us for all of our youth golf programs, and they make it possible for local kids to learn, practice, play, and fall in love with the game right here in Webster City.

A few things to know:
• To register your team, contact Joe Hunter directly at 515-689-9431. Payment is required to reserve your spot.
• Teams will be paired with another team and exchange scorecards to help ensure fair and accurate scoring.
• Cart availability is limited. If your team is able to bring your own cart, we highly encourage you to do so! A limited number of rental carts are available through the clubhouse, so please reserve one as soon as possible if needed.

Ladies, grab your best gal pal or leave it up to the cards to decide who you’ll play with tonight!

Despite the name, wine is definitely not required — we have plenty of other drinks available at the clubhouse, so grab your drink of choice and come enjoy a fun night on the course!

UPDATE: The course and clubhouse will open at 3PM today. Stop out for Wing Night!

Due to the current weather conditions and rain forecasted throughout the day, The Links Golf Course and Clubhouse will be closed this morning.

We plan to open the clubhouse later today and will keep an eye on course conditions throughout the day. We’ll post an update as soon as we have an opening time!

The Big Money Tournament is coming up Sunday, August 23 at The Links! There’s still time to grab your foursome and get in on the action.

A few things to know:
• Teams will be paired with another team and exchange scorecards to help ensure fair and accurate scoring.
• Payment is required to reserve your team’s spot.
• Refunds are available up to one week before the tournament.
• Cart rental is not included. Call the clubhouse at 515-832-1533 to reserve a cart.
