Hi TDC Families!

WOW, WOW, WOW! What an amazing first day back at TDC! We loved seeing our new and returning students, and we look forward to a fun, exciting and productive year!

As we get back into the swing of classes, we wanted to send a quick reminder about drop-off and pick-up safety at the studio.

Our dancers’ safety is always our top priority! While the streets surrounding TDC are well lit with street lights, drop-off and pick-up times can be busy, especially after dark or during rainy or snowy weather. Headlights, wet pavement, parked vehicles, and dancers walking between cars can sometimes make visibility more difficult.

A few reminders to help keep everyone safe:

• Please drive slowly and use extra caution when approaching and leaving the studio.

• Drivers - be especially watchful for dancers and parents walking across the street. We encourage crossing at the stop sign.

• We encourage younger dancers to be accompanied to and from the studio.

• Please remind your dancer to look carefully before crossing the street and not to walk between vehicles.

• During poor weather or after dark, please allow a little extra time and patience during drop-off and pick-up.

We suggest that you create a drop-off and pick-up plan with your child. With so many students coming and going throughout the evening, we all play a part in keeping our TDC families safe. A little extra awareness and patience can make a big difference!
