Never underestimate what kids are capable of.
Give them a challenge. Give them the chance to figure it out. Give them room to surprise you.
They might be small. Their potential isn’t.
Sir Lance came ready to LEVEL UP.
We couldn’t leave the East Irondequoit Open House without giving Sir Lance a shot at breaking a board…
Safe to say, he understood the assignment.

We had such a great time hanging out with East Irondequoit Kindergarten!
A huge thank you to all of the families who stopped by to say hi, spin the wheel, and have some fun with us at the open house!

We loved seeing so many smiling faces — and getting to spend some time with a few of our Level Up students outside the dojo!

From Instructor to Parent
We’ve known Sensei Justin for a LONG time.
We spent years training together, teaching together, and growing up together through martial arts.
And now, all these years later, we get to teach his son, Aiden.
There’s something pretty special about that.
And apparently some things really do run in the family — check out that peace sign!
One generation becomes the next.
Martial arts has a funny way of turning students and instructors into something more.
It turns them into family.
What a way to end the summer!
Tonight was our End of Summer Party — Karate Volleyball, games, pizza, and a whole lot of fun!
But nights like this are about more than just having a good time.
It’s kids building friendships. Laughing together. Getting to know each other outside of regular classes and feeling like they’re part of something.
That’s the kind of community we want Level Up to be.
Thanks to everyone who came out and made tonight such a blast. What an awesome group of kids!

Then and Now!
Griffin started training with us at just 4 years old when we were at our Titus location (now I-Square), by the House of Guitars.
Now, 17 years later, he’s one of our top instructors - bringing that same passion to the next generation of students!
From a 4-year-old stepping onto the mats for the first time to Sensei Griffin. How cool is that?!
