A few have reached out regarding weather concerns. We are watching the reports, but at this time are planning to hold classes this evening. If the building loses power or a State of Emergency is declared, we will send out a notice here and on our WhatsApp group. If you chose not to come to class due to weather, we understand - enjoy your family time. Let’s keep fingers crossed it isn’t as bad as predicted!

Good skills at the tournament today by these two! So proud of both - they did fantastic. Yes, you do see a lot of gold in that photo!!

I see a lot of people doing this fancy mitt work stuff, with a flashy padman… that can look pretty good to the uneducated eye…

They can throw a 30 punch combo with slips and rolls on the mitts… but can’t throw a proper jab while moving forward. Or back 🤔

I’m not a fan of the fancy pad work

But I’m not hating on that stuff, as I think there’s a time and place for it, but it’s totally for fitness.

But if ya wanna get better at boxing, doing that sort of mitt work won’t get you there.

Without being able to do the basic fundamentals great, you have no chance or been able to do the flashy stuff good in ring.
