Webster Youth Hockey Association was started in 1999. Webster Youth Hockey Association Inc.
WYHA is based out of the Webster Ice Arena with all levels of house, girls and travel hockey teams. is a nonprofit organization established to provide an opportunity for the youth of the Greater Rochester area to participate in the great sport of ice hockey. WYHA is committed to providing the opportunity for boys and girls to develop sportsmanship, teamwork and personal integrity, all while enjoying the fun and challenge of a fast-action game.

Big congratulations to Shane Riley, this year’s recipient of the Gary Dunham Excellence in Coaching Award! 🏒💙💛
This award honors one of WYHA’s founding members, Gary Dunham, whose passion for coaching and dedication to young athletes helped shape our organization.
Shane truly embodies the spirit of this award. As a head coach, an assistant with the Finke team, and now serving on the WYHA Board as Travel Director, his commitment to our players and program continues to go above and beyond.
He leads by example—developing skills, creating a positive and fun environment, and showing what true sportsmanship looks like for our players and families.
We are incredibly lucky to have Shane in so many roles within our organization, and this recognition is so well deserved.

We’re proud to recognize Avery Scaccia as this year’s recipient of the Grant Lintala Sportsmanship Award.
This award honors the legacy of Grant Lintala—a PeeWee WYHA player who exemplified what it truly means to love the game, respect others, and bring positivity to the ice every day.

Our 19U Cyclones are ready to hit the ice and set the tone for the season ahead. This group brings a great mix of experience, compete level, and commitment to getting better every day.
This year will be all about pushing pace, raising standards, and continuing to build a culture that players are proud to be part of.
With Coach Owen Parshall leading the way and the added experience of working with the RIT Women’s Hockey players, this team will have an incredible environment to grow and elevate their game.

We’re excited to welcome our 14U AA Girls Team for the upcoming season!
This group is ready for a year centered around growth, development, and building a strong team culture—both on and off the ice.
We’re especially looking forward to the opportunity for our players to learn and grow alongside members of the RIT Women’s Hockey program, creating an incredible experience and pathway for our athletes.
Led by Coach Owen Parshall, this team is set for a great season ahead—and we can’t wait to get started.
