We hit 1K and my ADHD brain is like:
“Celebrate 🎉”
“Reply to comments 💬”
“Start 3 new ideas 💡”
“Forget why you opened your phone 📱”
But seriously… thank you.
This little corner of the internet is for all of us figuring it out as we go.
We’re keeping it:
Practical ✔️
Relatable ✔️
A little chaotic ✔️
Because ADHD isn’t going anywhere…
but neither are we.
More tips, more laughs, more “how is this so accurate” moments coming soon.

Most parents are trying to connect more… but end up talking more instead
Try this instead 👇
The 10 20 10 Rule for connecting with your child:
10 minutes
Let THEM lead
No correcting
No teaching
Undivided attention only
Phone down
Distraction free
Just enter their world
20 minutes
Do something together
Play, cook, walk, shoot hoops
Still distraction free
Connection grows through shared experience
10 minutes
Talk
Now they are more open
Now they actually listen
Because they felt you fully there first
💡 Why this works
Kids do not open up when they feel managed
They open up when they feel seen and fully attended to
If your child has ADHD this matters even more
Their brain already battles distraction
Your presence becomes their calm
Connection first
Then direction
Save this and try it today

ADHD isn’t a motivation problem.
You don’t “lack discipline.”
Your brain just doesn’t run on importance… it runs on interest, urgency, novelty, and pressure.
That’s why:
• You can’t start something “easy”
• But can hyperfocus for hours last minute
• And feel stuck even when you KNOW what to do
Stop trying to force motivation.
Start creating conditions:
→ Body doubling
→ Timed sprints (10–20 min)
→ Make it slightly urgent
→ Add stimulation (music, movement)
Motivation follows action… not the other way around.
Follow for real ADHD strategies that actually work 🧠⚡️

Everybody’s scared of ADHD meds…
But what if I told you the research is starting to say the opposite of what people think 👀
A brand new study just dropped showing that kids who were treated for ADHD early… actually had a LOWER risk of developing psychosis later in life. (Medical Xpress)
Yeah… not higher. Lower.
Let that sit for a second.
Because for YEARS the conversation has been:
“Are meds dangerous?”
“Are we messing kids up long term?”
And now we’re seeing something different…
👉 It might not just be about managing symptoms
👉 It might actually be protecting long term brain health
Now pause… this doesn’t mean meds are for everyone.
But it DOES mean this:
We need to stop making fear-based decisions
And start making informed ones.
Because untreated ADHD has risks too… and nobody talks about that enough.
This is why I always say:
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach… but there is a right approach for YOU.
If you’re a parent, adult with ADHD, or just trying to figure this out…

Met Gary Vee today and honestly… 🔥
I’m locked in, taking in everything he’s saying about consistency, patience, and actually showing up every day. Real game.
Meanwhile… my ADHD brain in the background:
“Bro… you left his book at the Airbnb… he could’ve signed it 🤦♂️”
“And where did he get that sweater though?? 👀”
Two things can be true 😂
Inspired AND distracted.
Still… biggest takeaway: consistency beats everything. Show up anyway
ADHD and ODD are not about “bad behavior.”
They are about lagging skills, emotional regulation struggles, and nervous systems that get overwhelmed fast.
When a child has ADHD, impulsivity and big emotions can take over before logic even has a chance.
When ODD shows up, it often looks like defiance. But underneath?
Frustration.
Feeling misunderstood.
Power struggles that escalate quickly.
This is where parent management matters.
Not harsher consequences.
Not louder voices.
Not more punishment.
But:
Clear structure
Calm and consistent responses
Predictable consequences
Emotional regulation modeling
Connection before correction
When parents shift how they respond, kids shift how they behave.
Parent management training gives you tools to:
• Reduce power struggles
• Increase cooperation
• Build emotional regulation
• Strengthen your relationship
• Create consistency between caregivers
Your child is not trying to give you a hard time.
They are having a hard time.
And with the right support, change is possible.

ADHD can feel like broken pieces at first.
But nothing was ever broken.
With the right support, the pieces connect—and the full picture finally makes sense.
You don’t need to try harder.
You need support that understands your brain.
It’s Friday and the holidays are creeping in 🎄🧠
For individuals with ADHD, this time of year can feel extra challenging.
Shorter weeks. Disrupted routines. Social plans. End of year deadlines.
Your brain is already sprinting ahead while the calendar is doing backflips.
A few ADHD friendly tips to close out the week strong:
• Lower the bar intentionally. Fridays before holidays are not for perfection. Focus on progress.
• Do a brain dump before you log off. Write everything down so your brain does not carry it all weekend.
• Create one anchor task. One small clear priority helps prevent shutdown or avoidance.
• Build in recovery time. Stimulation adds up. Schedule decompression like you schedule meetings.
• Plan Monday before Friday ends. Your future self will thank you.
ADHD does not disappear during the holidays. With the right supports it does not have to run the show either.
Give yourself permission to work with your brain not against it.
