Palm Beach will not be participating in the 7s series this season due to lack of participation. We will be playing Touch though so watch for posts.

Reminder: U19 7s practice Sunday June 2nd 11-1 at Buttonwood Park. 5300 Lantana Rd., Lake Worth, FL 33463.
Again, only players that practice are eligible to make the team.

Attentionball 7s players. To help accommodate our team mates from Boynton and Boca, our June 2nd practice is moved to Buttonwood Park. 10-noon. 5300 Lantana Rd., Lake Worth, FL 33463.
June 9th will still be in Wellington at Polo. Again, only players that practice are eligible.

Tryouts/practice for 7s tournaments will be Sunday June 2nd and June 9th at 11 am at Polo. These are mandatory to play in the tournaments. All HS players invited.

FYRU has created a 7s series for HS so this has altered our plans this summer. We will be participating in only 2 tournaments on June 15th and June 22nd followed by selections for a select side to travel to Cape Fear 7s in July. Our 1st practice will be this Saturday the 18th at 11 am at Polo. I need everyone interested in playing to contact me and be at practice on Saturday. Below is the email explaining:
Hi Everyone,

I hope you all have began to recover from the 15s. I wanted to connect specifically about Summer 7s and see what interest your club has in creating and participating in U19s Summer 7s Series.

U19s Summer 7s Series

The series in its first year would run over two tournaments, with teams gaining points depending on their finishing place across the two tournaments the team with the most series points would be crowned the Champions 2019. The points system would be the same as what is used in the World Series 7s. From there all of the team coaches would select and create a Representative side to travel to Cape Fear 7s in Wilmington, NC on July 6th & 7th. Dave McFadden from Tampa Krewe will be leading the group to Cape Fear 7s however, he needs help from coaches and travel staff.

Having already spoken with a number of the coaches, they felt that would be best to have the two tournaments in mid June as the series tournaments. Those two tournaments would be:

June 15th - Rusted Knights 7s in Orlando

June 22nd - Shipwrecked 7s in Sebastian

We have a number of teams already interested in the series for both girls and boys divisions. Please consider entering your team into the series, it is a great way for them to have some fun over the summer, recruit new players and have an opportunity to travel to great tournament like the Cape Fear 7s.

Hello all Phoenix players. Now that the regular season is over it's time to talk about 7s and Touch.
1. I want to get some Touch going on the weekend and need to know is Saturday or Sunday morning better. Please respond with your preferences.
2. Summer 7s. I need to know who is interested for the following tournaments:
June 8th Surfin 7s West Palm Beach
June 15th Rusted Knight 7s, Orlando
June 22nd Shipwreck 7s, Sebastian
July 13th Fiji 7s, Miami

Reminder: Sunday March 10th there will be a Queens sports camp followed by a Palm Beach Phoenix 7s tryout for Tropical 7s for U16 and U18 boys 11am-2pm. All players welcome. Fee is $20. If you want to play with Phoenix for Tropical 7s, you MUST attend this camp/tryout.
