First off, I'm ok.

The last 3 days I've been in the cardiac unit at a Hospital for some scary symptoms that appeared earlier this week on Tuesday. I was feeling nauseous, weak, very achy, and tired, causing me to leave work early and go home to nap. I went to bed early and felt 95% the next morning.

Wednesday I worked a mostly normal day as we prepped for bike night at the shop but hit a wall running out of energy around 4pm. I needed to sit down and gather myself a few times. Some ibuprofen got me through body aches and the rest of the event and back home that night.

Around 3am on Thursday morning I woke up in a ton of pain and short of breath. Legit thought I was having a heart attack. Sharp stabbing chest pain, stabbing left shoulder pain, and an inability to breathe deeply were my symptoms. We got up and drove to the ER to get checked out. After lots of tests here is what we found:

- elevated troponin count (heart attack indicator)
- decreased cardiac function (like less blood flow out to the body)
- low oxygen saturation levels (low 80s at times)
- swelling of the muscles and sack around my heart

The Dr's gave two possibilities, I had blockages in arteries casuing multiple issues or some sort of virus/infection keeping my heart from working fully.

To confirm my arteries were clear an angeogram was performed which was wild. They sent a probe in through my wrist alllll the way to my heart and thankfully found that all were clear. FUGGIN WHEW 😅

With that confirmed they could pursue treating an infection/virus (acute mio paracardidis) with specific meds. By Saturday afternoon I was in a good enough position to be discharged but im still limited in activities and such.

I tried to edit for a bit which was ok but still uncomfortable. This also means I can't ride the new bike to get necessary footage right away which may get in the way of getting that content out. Regardless I'm just happy to be home recovering.

I am beyond thankful for Gracie Powers for absolutely never leaving my side and working so hard to talk to medical professionals, advocate for me, keep me comfortable, bring good snacks, update my family, and make me feel loved. I'm very lucky

Weekly update! The 1.5 Grand Tour was awesome but it wasn't easy! Both the CB900C and the R6 had issues which you will see in upcoming videos. The red Nighthawk saved the day though with a flawless 600 miles. Buy this bike for $1500! DM if seriously interested.

Also, keep an eye on the page for new additions to the fleet 😎
