December Yoga Series: Sunset Gentle Yoga

~ Every Sunday in December ~

4:30pm – 5:30pm

Lakeside Village Field

As the sun sets over the lake, unwind and reset with this restorative yoga series led by Lauren Frank.

Class Description
This gentle yoga series is designed to guide you into a parasympathetic state through intentional breathing and mindful muscle lengthening. Perfect for beginners discovering yoga or athletes seeking deep recovery, each class flows slowly through seated, standing, and supine postures to cultivate lasting calmness in both mind and body.

• Dates: Sundays – December 7, 14, 21, & 28
• Time: 4:30–5:30 PM
• Location: Lakeside Village Field (stunning lake + sunset views)
• Cost: $20 non-members | $15 members | Complimentary for Saddlebrook Sports Performance members

Meet Sydney Boynton 💪🎾

Born into a family of athletes and coaches, Sydney Boynton was immersed in the world of sports from an early age. Though she initially pursued a degree in Fashion Marketing & Management to follow her creative passions, she soon discovered a deeper calling in fitness and performance.

Now an ISSA-certified personal trainer, Sydney is dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential. She’s gained valuable experience supporting WTA players and observing the high-level training and discipline that define the professional tennis world.

Her journey hasn’t been a straight line, but one thing has always been certain—Sydney was meant to be in sports.👟🔥

Originally from Stuart, Florida, she comes from a family of collegiate athletes and has continued that legacy through her own athletic and professional journey.

She began her career in sports performance as an intern at Saddlebrook Sports Performance in 2019 while completing her Master’s Degree in Exercise and Nutrition Sciences at the University of Tampa. During this time, she also competed on the university’s beach volleyball team, helping lead them to their first AVCA National Championship in 2019. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science while playing indoor volleyball at Southeastern University.

Kiana’s role at Saddlebrook has steadily expanded since her internship, becoming a full time coach in 2020. In 2021, she took on the additional role of Social Media Coordinator, managing the social media accounts for Saddlebrook Sports Performance, Tennis, and Golf, showcasing her ability to communicate the value of performance training and highlighting the company in each of their disciplines.

Kiana specializes in developing elite-level training programs for junior and professional athletes, as well as customized programs for general population clients. Her approach focuses on improving overall athleticism, injury prevention, and sport-specific performance. She is equally passionate about helping adults feel better, move better, and look better through personalized, functional training strategies. With a strong foundation in exercise science and a competitive playing background, she brings both technical knowledge and personal experience to her coaching.

📣 Meet our Director: Chris May

🏋️‍♂️ Director of Sports Performance at Saddlebrook

‭Chris May is a Florida native, born and raised in Jupiter, FL. A lifelong‬ athlete, Chris was a three-sport standout at Dwyer High School before earning a‬ Division I football scholarship to Eastern Michigan University. There, he was a‬ four-year starting safety and completed his degree in Exercise Science.‬

After a season playing professionally in Europe for the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes‬ (German Football League), Chris shifted his focus to performance coaching - combining his athletic background with a science-based approach to training.‬

Chris began his career at Saddlebrook International Sports, working with elite‬ junior athletes and professionals from the ATP/WTA, MLB, NFL, and NHL. He later‬ joined the Performance Compound in Tampa, where he led off-season training for‬ MLB players, before returning to Saddlebrook in 2015 as the‬‭ Director of Sports‬ Performance‬‭.‬

In his current role, Chris oversees all performance training for Saddlebrook’s‬ Tennis and Golf Academies, Touring Pro Program, and professional athlete‬ off-season development. His coaching style blends biomechanics, energy system development, and sport-specific programming to maximize performance and‬ reduce injury risk.‬

Chris holds certifications as a:‬
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)‬
- Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 (TPI-1)‬
- USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach (USAW-1)‬
- USA Track and Field Certified Coach‬
