Kicked off the first meet of the 2023 LCM season at the USSC May Invite! So much fun, great swims and tons of smiles! Such a great swim family! Let's go Supernova!

A supernova is a star that suddenly increases in brightness because of a catastrophic explosion that
ejects most of its mass. It is the largest explosion in space. These little stars on our team went supernova this past weekend at the Michigan Age Group State Meet, shining brighter than ever. These
swimmers brought their all and locked in a 4th place in the state of 54 teams competing. New state
cuts, zone cuts, high point winners, state champions, personal bests and most of all a team of swimmers who fought as one family. Each swimmer played an important role fighting to beat other
teams, helping B relays to score and supporting each other when times got tough. These swimmers
worked so hard this season and it showed. They say the stars shine their brightest in the darkest of
nights. When races got tough and the swimmers were tired they never gave up but rather stepped
up and gave their all. The coaches are so proud of how amazing everyone did and how close everyone has come together as one swim family. We couldn’t have done it without the dedication and
support of each and every person on the team.

This past weekend Supernova competed in the Fast and Furious Prelim/final Meet and took 2nd place in overall team scores!

We won 6 high point winners by Sera Hamzeh, Anna Hamzeh, Riley Massoglia, Kenny Zuska, Elizabeth Eichbrecht and Elizabeth Walter-Ricketts.

Elizabeth Eichbrecht Broke the girls 13-14 500 free state record and pool record with a time of 4:51.35!

A plethora of State cuts, PR's and great swims were had by the whole team and most of all everyone had a blast! Keep up the good work Supernovas!

What a great bunch of kids 😊. How can you not smile when you see them 😁. Awesome first day to kick off the USSC Odd age meet! Great swims tonight and we can't wait to see more the rest of the weekend! If you look closely in the background you might see the missing 5 other kids🤔 it's hard trying to round up 30 kids on a Friday night for a picture 😂. Remember when we used to have only 5?! Go Supernova! ✨💪🔥

Great weekend at Mid States! Supernova brought 19 swimmers to represent Team Michigan! We helped bring Michigan multiple Mid State Champions, 4 broken meet records, and a Michigan state record! We had so much fun and it was a great experience for many of our younger swimmers!
