Imagine your parent or grandparent, who perhaps lives alone, has an accident and is hurt, or they’re self-isolating with COVID-19 symptoms and things take a turn for the worst. Then, they’re able to call 911. But how will you know?

The OS is here: El Capitan: 10.11. It seems to have a few bugs. So like always, I suggest you wait until the first update so that the developers can clean up.

10.10.3 dramatically changed iPhoto. It is no longer supported and has been replaced with Photos. This program looks just like photos on your mobile devices. If you kept up with your iPhoto updates, iPhoto will still run and can be used. If you did not, you can only use Photos. The New Photos program has some caveats in that you can no longer custom configure photo stream. It is all or none. Apple has done this to encourage the use of its iCloud photo storage which is not free. So read carefully and choose wisely.

Apple Provides Workaround for iPhone Text Message Bug
It's Siri to the rescue — for now — until Apple can provide a software fix to a bug that can cause iPhones to mysteriously shut down when they receive a certain text message.

Something to think about in this cold weather: leaving your computer, ipad or phone in your car and allowing it to get cold will not only drain the battery, upon taking it into your house condensation may form causing water damage and voiding any warranty you might have. Take care of your devices!
