What an amazing morning at our BEYOND STRENGTH women’s weightlifting workshop.
Seeing this group of women show up, learn, ask questions, support each other, and step into the weight room with more confidence was exactly why we created this event.

It is independence.
It is learning how to move with purpose and train with intent.

Today was special.
A huge thank you to the West Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce for joining us for Coffee Connection and to every local business owner who came through our doors. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share the passion, purpose, and intentionality behind what we’re building at LIFT.
So many of you got to see the heart behind these doors today, and that means a lot to us.
A big shoutout to for supplying amazing coffee and helping create such a warm, energizing atmosphere for some truly great conversation.

Strength Has No Age.
Somewhere along the way, people started believing strength had an expiration date.
That lifting weights is only for the young.
That getting stronger is “too late.”
We don’t buy that—and more importantly, we don’t see that.
At LIFT Training, we work with busy professionals, parents, and individuals 30, 40, 50+ who are getting stronger now than they’ve ever been before.
Not because they’re chasing a number on a scale.
But because they’re choosing to move better, feel better, and build a body that supports their life—not limits it.
Strength isn’t about age.
It’s about intention.
It’s about consistency.
It’s about having the right plan—and the right coach guiding you through it.

the back squat is not the gold standard for everyone.
It’s a tool.
And like any tool… it has to fit the person using it.
As coaches, we look at:
• Your mobility
• Your injury history
• Your structure
• Your goals
Because forcing a barbell on your back when your body isn’t ready for it?
That’s not “hardcore”—that’s just poor programming.
There are better options for a lot of people:
• Goblet squats → build pattern and control
• Split squats → develop strength without loading the spine
• Trap bar deadlifts → train power safely
• Belt squats → challenge the legs, protect the back
• Landmine squats → move well, consistently
Most people don’t need more intensity.
They need more intention.
At LIFT, we don’t chase exercises.
We build programs around you.
Because the goal isn’t to say you can back squat—
the goal is to move better, get stronger, and stay doing it for life.
