Quad City #2 in the Books at Toledo! In Mr. Dons’s words “y’all can’t catch a break” has he bolts to help Jesse bend a radius rod straight after a wheel went flying off in Harrison Senior Honda Race! With helps from many other dads!

Morgan led 18 laps in p1 with almost lapping the 4 car…which for confidence building she needed that pass! Wheel Comes flying off to put her to the rear being dead on track!

My win for the weekend was all the fellows dad chipping in to help! Jesse then chipped in to help fellow MMRA drivers !

Harrison ran a 12 car field, 7 car field , dodged a few recks, passed a few cars and pulled out a 4th place win! Way to go Dude! Started p1 on Sunday to a full field who couldn’t get a good start in AT ALL. Didn’t transfer to A main but he was proud how he drove!

My advice: teach them in rookies how to pass properly, run their line and not drive through the grass and get to keep your position!!!

Fun weekend over all!!

Videos to come later! Time to watch Senior Honda A main! Go get them Roman!!!!

Little Kalamazoo Speedway Quarter Midget Racing! Reed Racing! Confidence building Weekend!

05/17/2026

This last weekend was a learning “practice” laps type of race for these two rockstars!

Blue rookie 💙🏁 for Miss Morgan was a clean, smooth race. She is still getting comfortable in her car and the new speed! She loves her colors of the car, big win for her! She had quite a few changes to pass but chose not to! Totally fine! But now time to play leap frog with brother at the practice track! P4 and finished 4th.

🏁⭐️ Senior was class is giant! But he started p3 and held his own but didn’t have the greatest start, in his words! He started in the c main in p5 and got some passes in and held his own in the middle of the pack. We were happy 😊 to hang…he got some tips from Greyson Marcinkowski Racing and Mr. Jason Barrett . They both said what he needed. A boost of confidence goes along way! He then controlled his car when another driver spun but causing a driver to hit her and then he put his tire to Harrison’s visor. (She was shook up but okay, tough girl! ) he was put in the back and couldnt move his way up. We were proud though and notice a little more speed and more importantly confidence in himself. He was smiling and happy at the end of the race!

Onto to Toledo next weekend! 🏁⭐️

Happy Saturday! We are off Little Kalamazoo Speedway Quarter Midget Racetrack! Race🏁

We are new to this track so today is a learning experience for all of us! Gus too! He is joining us for our race weekend! We want the kids to build confidence and just feel comfortable in their cars! And most of all have fun! 🤩

Little Kalamazoo Speedway is a fast-paced quarter midget racetrack in Kalamazoo, Michigan, built specifically for young racers ages 5–16. The track is a tight, high-banked 1/20-mile concrete oval that many racers describe as feeling like a miniature version of a professional short track.

Come watch if you’re in the area! Or follow LIVE on the little Kalamazoo speedway water midget club page! We are running Blue rookie (real car) and senior Honda (yellow car) 👍

I read this from a fellow racer and it hit hard this weekend and it’s the truth::

“ Heartbreak 💔 & frustration 😤 are just as much a part of racing as jubilation 🤩. And we've had plenty of both already this year.

And while we often celebrate the jubilation - those big wins and amazing runs - often its the heartbreak and frustration that teach you even more:
- How to handle the sadness.
- How to lose with grace (still kinda learning that one 🤣).
- How to turn the page and move onto the next one.

Not everything is always rainbows 🌈 and roses🌹... but that's what builds your character.

Thanks for coming to our TED Talk! “

05/03 Sunday Points race #1

Monday Morning Wake up was rough for all! 🤷‍♀️🏁⛅️ 05/03

Sunday race day was another doozie in the books! Harrison pill draw was at the back but he was determined to run his own line in Senior Honda. He is cautious driver but today he held his own and we couldn’t be more proud! Heat race he avoided a driver who lost his tire but hit the wall and broke his radius rod. Dad to the rescue again with Mr. Jason Barrett to help! Got him back out but he said he didn’t feel safe! Props to him for knowing that. So He didn’t finish!

B Main he stood is ground in the back and unfortunately a faster car tired to pass but Harrison held his line and when driver couldn’t compete the pass fully he got pushed into the wall and lost his chain. Another driver spun and the yellow was thrown. Got back out there and finished strong.💪

Morgan ran a great line and got a some good practice laps in because she had no other driver to race again. She recieved the win but we will celebrate when she gets her passes to earn the checkered flag! 🏁💕

We are proud and dad is already reading and thinking 🤔
