Yesterday, our team of 8 candidates, The Great Eight, stepped onto the floor at the Region 9 Black Belt Test after years of hard work, perseverance, consistency, and preparation. 🥋

Our team included 6 Cho Dan (first degree) candidates, 1 E Dan (second degree) candidate, and 1 Sam Dan (third degree) candidate.

The day was extra special as Ms. Sophie and Mr. Naser stepped onto the same testing floor their siblings did back in 2017, 9 years ago! Such an awesome full-circle moment!

We’re super proud of this crew of rock stars for earning the opportunity to test and leaving it all out on the mat!

We had a totally awesome time at our Summer Kick-off Party last Saturday! 😎🏖️🎉 The weather was perfect, Richie’s Ice Cream Truck was a huge hit, and we loved spending time together and making memories with our karate family. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped kick off another exciting summer! 🥋🌞

They always bring their best and serve as an inspiration to other dads (and adults) who may be thinking about jumping in! 🙌

Today we pause to remember and honor the courageous heroes who gave everything in service to our country. 🇺🇸🙏



Their sacrifice, bravery, and selflessness will never be forgotten, and we are forever grateful for the freedom and safety they helped to protect.



Our studio will be closed today (Monday, 5/25/26) in observance of Memorial Day, but we’ll be back and ready to rock tomorrow (Tuesday, 5/26/26)! 🥋

It was such an honor to host the Region 9 High Rank class yesterday! 🥋



We had martial artists from Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Maine all rocking the mat.



There were cardio / conditioning drills, there was advanced sword work, but most of all there were family vibes!

Huge thank you to the Greendale YMCA for putting together another awesome Healthy Kids Day this past Saturday (4/18)! 🥳🏋️



We had a great time connecting with so many families, breaking boards, and bringing the energy to the gym! 🥋💥 And getting to spend some time with Woofster from the WooSox definitely added to the excitement! 🐾⚾



We’re grateful for the strong partnership we have with the YMCA and for the opportunity to be part of such a great community event. 🙏
