People tend to think of the walk as the “easy” gait, but there is so much to work on there.

Rogue likes to anticipate what’s coming next, so we’ve been spending a lot of time focusing on just walking—staying present, listening, and not assuming a transition is around the corner. It’s amazing how many pieces you can improve when you slow down and give the walk the attention it deserves.

One of my favorite things about Rogue is how smart she is. Once she understands the question, she’s usually quick to find the answer. I have a feeling she’ll have this one figured out very soon!

I’ve almost had Rogue for 4 years and somehow she’s only had things with my name on it!

Maybe it’s because I tend to go through the baby horse process and spend years only being able to brush my horses before I can ride them, but grooming really is therapeutic for me!

I love brushes and products and bags and organizing it all… and the shiny coat my horses get from all the TLC too ✨
