Congratulations wrestlers!
Ben Hunt! Competed great! Won one match, and had some losses to older and heavier wrestlers. Ben is showing vast improvement from last year, is a hard worker, and participates in double classes! We expect Ben to have a stellar year!
James Lambertson! Went 3-1 - a tech fall, 3-0 decision against a 10 year old, and a pin! His only loss was to a wrestler 8 lbs heavier and a year older! James has been putting in extra hard work preparing himself for Tulsa this fall! Keep up the great work, James!
Sienna Maiani went 5-0! Four pins and a major decision - all against older wrestlers grades 8-11. She has leveled up this year, and come in to her own - and it’s definitely not easy being coaches daughter.
Great job all wrestlers who competed! This tournament was a “war zone” tournament - you could challenge anyone within 30 percent of your age or weight. A great way to get many matches in within a short period of time.
