West Chester Athletics Takes Home Dixon Trophy - West Chester University Athletics LOCK HAVEN, PA. – West Chester University was awarded the F. Eugene Dixon Trophy by commissioner Steve Murray during a ceremony and celebration at Tanglewood, the home of WCU President, Dr. Laurie Bernotsky, Wednesday afternoon.

This year, WCU will be offering four sessions of Adult Swim Lessons!

The program is run by Coach Victor Polyakov, a five-time NCAA champion and a master stroke technician. Space is limited (most sessions sold out last summer).

Each session is two-weeks long, Monday - Friday, no weekends.

Classes will be taught in WCU's South Campus Pool at 8:00 PM.

Session 1 - June 1st – June 12th
Session 2 - June 15th – June 26th
Session 3 - July 6th – July 17th
Session 4 - July 20th – July 31st

This is Nagy’s second appearance on the list for excellent academics and athletics.

Demesy makes his third appearance on the list, but this time he’s been named Performer of the Year.

The 2026 WCU Swimming & Diving Awards Banquet was held yesterday in the Philips Autograph Library and catered by Aramark.

Thank you to Senator Carolyn Comitta of the PA State Senate for sponsoring special citations for the WCU Men’s & Women’s Swimming & Diving Teams which recognized their achievements in the 2025-26 season. We are honored and we appreciate your support!
