✨TAIL STORAGE✨
Let’s talk about it! One of the best ways to make sure your fake tail lasts for years is to store it properly. In between shows, ideally your tail should be hung up somewhere cool and dry, and out of the bag. This keeps the tail fluffy and crease-free. Making sure your tail is completely DRY and away from heat/moisture as much as possible helps preserve the hairs and other materials your tail is made from.

In this photo, the tail on the left has been stored in a sleeve inside of a too-short bag, making it flat and creased. A quick spritz with a little Healthy Haircare and a gentle brush through with my fingers had it looking good as new in no time.

One more thing - when you leave your tail out the night before a show, please don’t wrap it or put it in a bag! Just leave it hanging freely with a rolled up cotton bandage with it ready to use. Your tail should look like the one on the right when your braider arrives to do your horse - they will thank you!
