The past few months he’s been working on making contact, using his legs to drive the bar up, and keeping the lats engaged at the start.

🌟 Bright Spot: Christa! 🌟

Christa keeps impressing us with her commitment to lifting and improving her numbers. Last week she hit a power clean & jerk at 35kg, and has had a very successful past couple of weeks in general.

Drilling push presses every week to get better overhead stability, Christa pushes herself to perform better and do both - lift heavy while honing in technique.

🔥 WCWL Team Excursion! 🔥

Yesterday three of our WCWL lifters - Ryan, Dmitry, and Misha - went to a USA Sambo event featuring UFC champion Islam Makhachev! 🌟

We got to train some technique, learn new skills, and meet this legend of a fighter.

We’re so glad to have taken the opportunity to expand our horizons and try out the sport that built champions like Islam.

Huge thanks to USA Sambo, Encoded MMA, Yawara Force, Fusion Gym for making it happen! 💪
