Today, we recognize the hard work and dedication of our local families, coaches, teams, and community.

Winter training may feel far away, but planning is already underway at Midwest Sports Training.

Some teams begin indoor training as early as November, while most begin in January.

Now is the time for coaches and team managers to finish contracts and reserve winter training space.

Every one of these teams has put in countless hours of preparation, including winter training at Midwest Sports Training, and it has been awesome watching their growth, commitment, and passion for the game.

Nice job especially on the Mound DJ!

This weeks player of the week is DJ Clifford. DJ was dominant on the mound. In 8 1/3 innings, DJ allowed 2 earned runs on 5 hits striking out 8 and only walking 1. He had a 1.44 ERA over that span with a .720 WHIP. At the plate, he contributed with a .333 batting average.

DJ’s highlight of the week was shutting down the Schaumburg Flyers 13-1. He pitched three innings allowing 1 hit and 1 run.
