Good evening folks. There’s a lot going on in this sketch, but the point to take away is when you change the direction of force, in this case, how the cable is pulling on you, the challenge changes.
Usually I see people having the anchor all the way up to do overhead elbow extension, but what if you tried lowering the anchor to around shoulder height? This more than likely will put less demand on your shoulder extensor muscles, and still put an effective challenge to your elbow extensors (triceps). Give it a shot.

Control the weight you move. Not only does this make the exercise more effective at using your muscles capable tension to produce torque but it should reduce the risk of muscle and joint injuries.

I am 44 years old, still doing what I love(which is helping people improve their overall health and drawing) and still .
There is something to be said for the combination of exercise, lifestyle eating habits, sleep habits, and managing stress that adds up to this outcome. Is it easy to obtain? No. But it’s worth trying because YOU are worth trying for. Take care of yourself in every fashion to improve your health. I used to think it was diet and exercise but that’s naive to except. It’s many other external and internal factors that will influence your current state of well being.
My point is, make the effort with each step you’re willing to take. Walk outside, pick one exercise or activity you like and do it as often as you can. Create new relationships and learn from others. These are examples that can shape who you are and how you feel. So far at 44, I have to say I feel really good.

Good afternoon everyone, hope you all are enjoying the day and getting some sun! First time making pasta with mussels for dinner tonight. It takes a bit of preparation with preparing and steaming the mussels(they were frozen) but well worth the time. Used some fresh basil and garlic slices.
