Hello Power Family! 🥊

We have a few exciting changes coming your way!

We’re officially launching a new software system and member app to make things easier for everyone. This will help us better track memberships, improve communication, and create a smoother check-in process when you come in to train.

Over the next few days, you may receive a few emails from us regarding the new system. Please make sure to follow the instructions and set up your member account when you receive them.

We’ll also be sending out a mass email with additional information. If you have not yet provided us with your email address, please send it to us through a private message so we can make sure you don’t miss anything.

We’re excited for this next chapter at Power! We also look forward to being more active on social media, keeping you better connected, and continuing to provide the quality training and experience you deserve.

My opinion, you might approve, you might not, and that’s your opinion (and you're entitled to it, just like I'm entitled to laugh at it).

USA Boxing rankings? They mean absolutely nothing if you’re not Youth (17–18) or Elite (19–40). Why, you ask? Because what do they actually get you? A bill, a patch, and maybe a picture on your gym’s wall next to the water damage and peeling paint.

Boxers aged 8 to 16 hitting every tournament imaginable, burning through mommy and daddy’s vacation fund… for what? To rank before they switch to football or cheerleading in high school?

Don’t get me wrong, I love tournaments. Congrats! You helped your coach sell more memberships to the gym you’re already paying for.

Want proof amateur rankings are trash? I had a kid go to every single tournament. Ranked 5th in the country. Wanna know his record? Drumroll… 0-11. Yup. Zero wins. Eleven losses. Great kid, though. Solid attitude. A few heartbreakers. But hey, 5th in the nation, baby!

What’s the moral of the story? Who cares. Just have fun. Because if you're not having fun, this sport will chew you up, spit you out, and charge you a registration fee for it.

We will be closed Thursday and Friday this week and will reopen on Saturday for our 8:45am class.
