Just a reminder that winter broomball registration is open.

The Rochester Area Broomball Tournament will be held this year on Saturday, August 16, and registration is officially open!

Here are the details:
Open to all broomball players. Register as an individual, and you will be drafted onto a team.
There will be a draft party the night before where teams are assembled and named. Attendance is encouraged! I will share a link to the draft spreadsheet so anyone who cannot attend can follow along at home.
The teams and schedule will be finalized Friday evening after the draft concludes. I will send out the info via email as quickly as I can.
The tourney takes place at the Dodge County Ice Arena in Kasson, MN. The first game will likely start at 9AM, and the last game will likely end before 9PM.
There will be outside tailgating between games! There will be snacks, drinks, and grilled meats for sale. Bring your camp chairs, canopy tents, yard games, and adult beverages (if you want 'em).
Please join us at the host bar/restaurant afterwards for the awards ceremony, food, and drinks, if you can!
The cost will be between $30 and $40 depending on the number of players.

Additional pickup broomball times at the West Des Moines Recplex

We are on for pick up broomball at the West Des Moines Recplex on Saturday, 12/10 at 8:15 pm. They said $8 per person. Please let your fellow team members know if they aren't a part of the Facebook group.

Details:
When you show up on Saturday, go to the information desk next to concessions to check in and pay. You'll have to write your name down, pay and you will receive a sticker that they want us to wear during the game. That allows them to know who paid.

For the locker rooms, the assignments will be on the TV in the lobby. The locker rooms will be right down the hallway when you enter Rink 2 via the double doors.
