Out with the old — in with the spectacular! When a Long Grove, Illinois, homeowner decided their outdated water feature desperately needed a complete redo, we were called in to help reimagine the space.

The result is an inspiring pondless waterfall that stands about 3 feet tall. Natural Lannon Stone is stacked over a matrix block foundation and durable liner. Through a skillful blend of technical engineering and master craftsmanship, the client traded an eyesore for a relaxing, worry-free backyard escape.

The annual Garden & Pond Tour, presented by the Midwest Pond & Koi Society, is right around the corner! Plan to attend from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, July 18-19 and July 25-26, 2026. Cost is $25 per family (up to four people).
