Took a ride up the lift at the new Oz Trails Bike Park while we were in town for a wedding, and it definitely makes me want to come back soon to ride it! Looks like many options are available for any rider level, with progression in mind for those who can ride it often. Had a burger and my bride had a slice of pizza and they were good, so get out there and check it out!

Any of my cycling friends have an old pair of black flat pedals that they want to get rid of cheap or preferably free? I'm looking to make them into foot pegs for my Jeep when the doors are off, so they don't need to be fit for a bike, but I would prefer metal over plastic. Part of me thinks it would be fine for the bearings to be good so they could spin, but the other part of me thinks that could cause some annoying noise when driving down the highway with no foot on it, just spinning around like crazy, so I may need to fix their position, so it's probably fine if the bearings are shot, just let me know what you got. Thanks!

Almost flipped over this guy trying to act as a pace turtle on my ride this morning with my friend Pat about at Lake Lexington... literally! Pat was in front and stopped so he wouldn't run over him, and I went OTB cranking on the brakes since I didn't k ow why he stopped. No harm no foul, no turtles or riders were harmed in making this post, so carry on!

Had a great day on the bike today at Breckenridge, got nearly 28 miles in on seven runs down the mountain on a rental Trek Fuel. Took a while to get used to the extra weight and different geometry, but still had a blast on an absolutely gorgeous mountain day!
We are actually in Breck with our off-road club, the Midwest Krawlers, but got what we wanted to get done covered by Wednesday, so couldn't resist spending a day on a bike! Super glad that I didn't try to go earlier in the week, since most of the trails were closed due to construction on one of the lifts, but most were open today.

Had a great time last night riding the Perry Lake MTB Trails as part of the Lawrence Mountain Bike Club Wednesday Night Shuffle! Heat index was crazy but had a great turnout to ride those rocky trails!

Beautiful day of riding the Claremore MTB Trails in Oklahoma. Love what they have done down there with the trails and features! Some of the primo riding in Oklahoma, in my opinion!
