Eligibility Reminder

You can purchase a 2026 Summer Student Membership if you:

✔ Are enrolled in summer courses
✔ Are enrolled for Fall 2026
✔ Graduated in Winter 2025 or Spring 2026

Payment is required in full at activation. Debit and credit cards are accepted (excluding American Express). Purchase IN PERSON at the Welcome Desk during business hours.

Meet our Employee of the Month for April, Kelly Dugan🎉🎉

Hiii I'm Kelly! I have worked at the rec for three years, I'm a senior and graduating with a bachelors in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. At the rec I work as a Building Supervisor and Preventative Maintenance Specialist. I have loved my time working here as I have found my closest friends and made countless memories that I'm forever grateful for.

The David A. Beckerman Recreation Center will be closed for Commencement Ceremonies on the following dates:
- Friday, May 15th
- Saturday, May 16th
- Sunday, May 17th
We will resume summer facility hours on Monday, May 18th.

The David A. Beckerman Recreation Center will be closing early this Wednesday, 5/6, at 4:30 PM for a staff event.

Be sure to plan your workouts ahead! We’ll be back to regular hours on Thursday, 5/7, at 6:00 AM.

Come take a fun study break and join us during exams to de-stress in a healthy way!

Stop by Beckerman Recreation Center for any one or more of our Group X Fitness Classes, designed for anybody and any body. Whether you are a beginner, restarting after a hiatus, or are in tip-top shape, you will find a fun challenge!

Proper fitness attire is required for all classes. Arrive 15 minutes before class to check in and maintain your class reservation. Space is limited; it is required to register here: https://newhaven.clubautomation.com/calendar/classes?tab=by-date , which reserves your spot in class! (The Group X schedule is subject to change, especially for inclement weather.)

📢 Facility Update: Due to the Shoreline Sounds Concert this Friday, May 1st, the Beckerman Recreation Center will be closing fitness operations early at 10:30 am. Smooth Haven will stay open until 11:00 am.

Ground and center yourself with Ariella at Earth Day Yoga tomorrow, 11:45 AM - 12:45 PM in the Maxcy Quad! 🌍 We’ll be connecting with nature as part of Fresh Check Day. All levels are welcome! 🧘‍♀️
