Huge stick taps to 6 Time Stanley Cup Winner Glenn Anderson who came to our Skills Session last night! He spent time interacting and talking with our players on the ice, and he took time to sign autographs afterwards. It was quite the memorable night! We would like to thank both Glenn and the Junior Rangers Program, and we are thrilled to continue our longtime partnership with the Junior Rangers and New York Rangers Programs!

West Haven Youth Hockey is saddened to announce the passing of one of our former coaches, Coach Andy Cafiero. Coach Andy was apart of our program for almost 40 years. Simply put, Coach Andy was a legend, he made an impact in every single player that he coached, and he will be missed by so many of his former players that span generations. Today, we are thinking of his wife Gloria, his family and loved ones as we all grieve in this heartbreaking loss together.

UPDATE: The Cafiero family is requesting anyone who would be willing to send old hockey photos of Coach Andy to please send them to Andrea at [email protected]

The work doesn’t stop when the skates come off! Our 11U 2015 PeeWee squad knows that preparation goes beyond ice time. From off-ice training to breaking down film, they’re putting in the work and building the habits that matter. On the ice. Off the ice. All in. That’s how West Haven Hockey does it.
