The wait is over! We are excited to officially announce the 2026–2027 New Haven Cheerleading Team.

This group of athletes earned their spots through hard work, and determination. We are proud of each athlete and look forward to the growth, memories, and success that lie ahead this season.

Congratulations to our 2026–2027 team! We can’t wait to see what this group accomplishes together as we continue to build on our tradition and make history.

Our tryouts are coming up!! They will be on Saturday May 9th at 9:00am at the Beckerman Recreation Center on campus.

It’s been 4 amazing years of Coach Lex running the cheerleading program and we wouldn’t have it any other way!! Our team is so thankful for everything she has done and continues to do for this team. 4 years ago this program was game day only, and now our team just placed the highest in program history in our first year as Division I at nationals!!

This program wouldn’t be where it is today without Coach Lex. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!!! We know that she will continue to lead this program to bigger and better things, here’s to another successful year!💙💛

Day 2 at NCA College Nationals, the New Haven Chargers left it all out there—heart, grit, and relentless energy from start to finish. Proud is an understatement. 💙⚡️
