Fall Baseball Registration is OPEN!

Registration for the 2026 WLYB Fall Baseball season is officially open and will close at 11:59 PM on Sunday, July 26. https://westlafayetteyouth.com/

📅 Important Dates
⚾ Registration closes: July 26
⚾ Practices begin: Week of August 3
⚾ Games begin: Week of August 24
⚾ Season ends: By October 7 (before WLCSC Fall Break, weather permitting)

👀 A few important notes:
• Players should register based on their age as of April 30, 2027.
• Requests to play up are subject to evaluation, director approval, and roster availability.
• We are not initially offering a 6U division this fall. If you'd be interested in 6U, please email us at [email protected]. If there's enough interest, we'll do our best to add the division!

West Lafayette Youth Baseball and Softball The West Lafayette Youth Baseball and Softball Program's mission is to encourage friendly competition where we educate players on sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, fundamentals, and growth as a person and player.

Our WL youth program has a softball field available for rent for travel team practices for the fall season.

Last night's WL Movie Night at the Ballpark was about so much more than watching The Sandlot, it was about bringing our community together.

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with SK hynix and their investment in the WL Youth Baseball & Softball program, fields and facilities is very exciting!

A huge thank you to all the families who joined us, our amazing volunteers from SK hynix & WL, Mayor Easter for stopping by, and all of the fantastic vendors who helped make the evening such a success (I think the barista in Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck never made so many frappes' in one night 😁).

Together we are building something special for the next generation of WL baseball & softball players! This is just the beginning, and we're excited for what's to come.

WL YOUTH FALL SOFTBALL
Registration for the fall softball league is open (www.westlafayetteyouth.com)!

The last day to register is Friday, August 7.

Players may register for an 8U, 10U, or 12U team. In the fall, you can play the same division from the spring or you can play the division you will play next spring.

You can use the USSSA Softball Age Calculator to determine what your daughter's softball age will be for the 2027 season.

**For your planning purposes, registration for Spring 2027 WL Youth Softball will be at the beginning of January when school starts.

’s Backyard Barn-Sports & Events is offering small-group baseball pitching lessons on Sundays in Lafayette:

⏰ 12–1 p.m.
⏰ 1–2 p.m.
⏰ 2–3 p.m.

Each one-hour session will include 3–4 athletes working with an experienced instructor. What a great opportunity for extra coaching and skill development now that the season has ended!

A huge congratulations to all of our players for an incredible run at the TCYB All-Star tournaments! These players battled the heat and powered through some tough doubleheaders. We are so proud of the way they represented West Lafayette!
