Four go karts run by students from IUPUI sponsored by Tayge Racing successfully competed at the Purdue Grand Prix in West Lafayette, IN yesterday. Kart 4 finished 3rd after 160 laps of tough endurance battles. Congratulations to all the students.

Even before we competed in our first rallycross event , we always joked with Kevin Hereau about getting his name put on the car. He didn’t want to drive, but he just wanted to build the race car with us. However, his battle with leukemia took him on a different race. But we wanted to make sure that he knows we’re racing with him. And that we’re waiting to race with you again. Because we’re going to cross that finish line together buddy.
In the meantime you’ll all be seeing us going sideways in the dirt with Kevin in spirit all over our hood and roof. A big thanks to Amy LaMarche for getting the shirts to us and putting us in contact with Jean from SignUp for the vector. And a huge shout out to Brent Nagy at Cutting Edge Graphics for getting these pieces of vinyl cut and printed so quickly !
