Greetings to everyone!

On Philippine Independence Day weekend, June 12th & 13th, 2027, Manunudlo Royce and NOMAD Kali be hosting our very first large scale FMA event, with various master instructors in FMA Presenting material from their schools and FMA lineages.

The purpose and direction of the FMA Pagkakaisa Event is to bring together and present our Filipino culture through cross-training, sharing, respect, camaraderie, relationship-building, and friendship. Our goal is to create a positive direction in promoting our Filipino Martial Arts culture within the FMA community.

By sharing knowledge and supporting one another, we strengthen the FMA community and create a positive impact throughout the world of Filipino Martial Arts.

The venue will be an outdoors event, located in Rockland County, New York. Less than 40 minutes north of NYC, and easy to get to.
If flying in, the White Plains/Westchester Airport is only 15 minutes away. Or 45 minutes from Newark AirPort. Exact location TBA

This will be a 1½-day FMA gathering. As we know people have to get home before the work week starts. For those who are interested and/or have the time for it, we will have a Filipino lunch gathering on the Sunday, after the event concludes, around 12:00 noon.

Registration fee is only $100
And includes a Certificate of Appreciation.

We’re also looking for vendors who would be interested in setting up a table at this event.

There is proficiency and there is mastery.
There is second nature. And there is Primary or First Nature. Unconscious Competence. The system, the art, everything that is PTK becomes one within. It becomes deeply rooted into the fibers of one’s being. As it becomes organic and flows as natural as one’s senses. So even without the weapon, you ARE the weapon.
Again, are YOU in it for the long haul? Are you a lifer? Or are you hiding behind charm, charisma, or fancy words, to mask sub par skills and an even weaker knowledge, or interpretation of the system?

Short Teaser 6 with Tuhon Rommel Tortal!

This is the 3rd series of clips from filming for this next project, that features applications of the possibilities within the training of the PTK system.
This time we have Doblé Daga/Sundang (Double Knife) application, with the help of Lakan G**o Ryan!

Honestly, the double knife training in PTK is so smooth and intricate. If you don’t do any double knife training, it will shows one’s deficiencies in their current standing knowledge and skill. It will really train and improve your off/non dominant/support hand. And the better your support hand is, the better your primary hand is. Previously, we had posed the question of whether you believe that Espada y Daga/Kalis y Sundang, was the epitome of FMA. Some would say Doblé Baston/Double Stick is. However, double knife is a whole other creature.
Because now you’re up close and personal with your opponent.

In case it needs to be said. This is just an example of the possibilities. This is not fighting or teaching what to do, in a fight. However we never know what will happen if we don’t learn to train for the contingencies.
