Our 2026 season comes to a close with Jazzi Lopez finishing in 8th place in the state of New Jersey!

Jazzi Lopez and Razz Smith will compete among New Jersey’s best at historic Boardwalk Hall, for a shot at a state championship! First whistle today at 10:00am.

JAZZI AND RAZZ ARE HEADED TO ATLANTIC CITY!

Today at the Region 2 Tournament, Jazzi Lopez and Razz Smith earned spots at the NJSIAA State Wrestling Championships, placing top 4 in their weight classes.

Jazzi came through with a 3rd place finish at 114, going 3-1 on the day and secured her 3rd career trip to the state tournament. As the 7th seed at 120, Razz battled through her bracket finishing 4-2 on the day and earned a 4th place finish.

Jazzi and Razz are now among the top 16 girls in the state of New Jersey in their weight classes, and will compete amongst the states best March 12-14 at historic Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City!

Our boys had an outstanding weekend at the District IX Tournament held at Delbarton School, qualifying 5 wrestlers for this weekend’s Region III Tournament!

Adam Barakat (150) finished in 2nd place, while Alex Jena (113), Aedan Lopez (157), Marcos Guerrero (165), and Ben Davidson (175) finished 3rd. All 5 Mountaineers will be in action this Friday night in Tarnoff Gym as they continue their road to states!

Our girls had an outstanding performance at the first ever Girls District IV Tournament, finishing 2nd place as a team!

Razz Smith earned gold in the 120lb. weight class, becoming our programs first Girls District Champion! Jazzi Lopez (114) and Hunter Seditta Lott (165) had excellent tournaments, both finishing in 2nd place. Alana Everett (100), Emily Paguay (126), Ariana Soria (138), and Mosie Prince (235) all came away with 4th place finishes.

These 7 wrestlers have now qualified to compete and next weekend’s North II Region Tournament held at Union High School!

Our girls road to states starts TODAY, 3/1, as they compete in the District IV Tournament at Phillipsburg High School! First whistle at 9:30am.

The road to states starts for our boys TODAY, 2/28, as they compete at the District IX Tournament held at Delbarton School! The top 3 place winners in each weight class will advance to next weekend’s Region III Tournament. First whistle at 9am.

Come out to Tarnoff Gym TONIGHT, 2/13, as we honor our seniors in the final home dual meet of their outstanding careers!
