Current trends look like a mix of Else & Hermine..although any more push to the West could be a Fred/Eta.
Elsa (pic1) was a quick shot of WFL luck while Hermime (pic 2-4) turned Buxton on, with 1 morning delivering some of the biggest barrels I saw in 2016. Fred (pic5) was a 1 day Alabama tube fest for me & Eta was a 2 day panhandle chunk fest.
Too early to say, but there may be some windows of opportunity for those looking for the hollow barrel or 2.
Anyone in the WFL Sunday AM hit me up, will be at the biggest spot I can find, a shorie I hope is still alive then either NFL or Panhandle.
Mon - Thur look very interesting, hoping for a track that moves over water.

Friday AM almosts but not quite.
After missing the run in the Panhade I wasted countless hours checking gutless & shifty hiTide sand banks to come up short & a day late, then Friday I continued by stupidity of searching for a shorie only to end up at the only semi hollow place in Brevard that can handle an E swell albeit the pinched endings.
Time to get the long boards out & book a trip to somewhere.

Cooling off amongst the additional 250000 people that moved to Florida before the summer duldrums set in.
Its June & its not completely flat, that is a small tidbit to be thankful for.
Enjoy it before it goes flat for 60 days straight & the temps go into the constant 100s.

When someome new to this area asks me,
"How did bodyboarding ever start in Florida with the waves they way they are?"
Ans: Before the sand projects, there were spots that were fun on a boog, HiTide shorie spots, dumpy mid breaks & wedges.
Case in point : some pics from a now dead Melbourne Beach sand bar ruined by soft sand & a once famous jetty that has been ruined in every possible way numerous times, pics from before the sand dumping insanity.
