Hello, my name is Robert. I was born in Toronto, Canada. My parents are from Bolivia, and my dad's family is from Argentina. Despite being a premature baby, I was diagnosed as deaf around the age of two, which has not stopped me, and I've led a normal life. I graduated from Gallaudet University in Washington DC with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Recreation. I played various sports growing up but found my passion in basketball at the age of 10. My dream was to become a basketball player, and I achieved it with guidance from my former coach, who taught me fundamental skills during my elementary school years.
My most individual accomplishments that I've proudly represented the Deaf Canada basketball team under CDSA (Canadian Deaf Sports Association) for over 15 years, starting in 2004. I attended various training camps before these competitions and traveled to numerous tournaments worldwide as a representative of Canada. (Check out at my LinkedIn for more information)

My wish is to initiate a giveaway for the Deaf, HOH, DeafBlind, and Deaf disabled community, providing children and young athletes with inspiration and an opportunity to learn fundamental sports skills when they might not be able to afford it. Additionally, hearing people are welcome to learn about their culture and make sports accessible. My heart and hope led to giveaway with sports equipment, such as jerseys, socks, shoes, and more for them to find joy and happiness in their sports activities. I've always hoped to show children and youth athletes from Bolivia and other countries that anything is possible, and say “yes, you can do it!”
