We are so proud of our very own Georgia Esopakis who was selected to perform the Greek national anthem at HDF 2026!

We’re so excited to introduce the voices who will help us open HDF 2026 🇺🇸🇬🇷 Georgia Gross will sing the American National Anthem, and Georgia Esopakis will sing the Greek National Anthem. Two incredible singers, two powerful anthems, and a moment that always gives us chills. We can’t wait to stand together as they set the tone for an unforgettable !

Congratulations to our youth of Saint Catherine! Both teams came home with Folk Expression Awards (one for the authentic rendition of the sousta (Primary) and the other for the authentic rendition of the Rizitiko (Advanced Junior))! And, our Primary team, performing for the first time at HDF (performing suites from Kythira and Lasithi, Crete) came home with a bronze medal. Our Advanced Junior team (performing suites from Rethymno, Crete and Lasithi, Crete) earned an outstanding silver medal. We couldn’t be more blessed! Thank you to God, Father Chrysostom and Presbytera, our church family and all the family members who supported our children and our efforts, allowing us to travel to North Carolina and experience our faith and culture with over 65 Hellenic dance groups and churches from the Metropolis of Atlanta and beyond.

Saint Catherine Athanato Fos HDF Team will host a Pascahlino (Easter) Glendi, Sunday, May 5, immediately following the Agape service. Please join our Saint Catherine family for music, dance, delicious food, and desserts in celebration of Easter. All proceeds will help our youth travel to Winston-Salem for the Metropolis of Atlanta Hellenic Dance Festival Competition in January 2025. Please RSVP ASAP.
