A more relaxed opportunity to drive your vintage race car on track? One that’s more focused on camaraderie and celebrating the heritage of motorsport? That’s precisely what Brian Redman's Targa Sixty Six offers.
For its 36th annual gathering, Targa Sixty Six will be hosted at Treasure Coast Motorsports Complex at P1 Motor Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida, January 22-24.
More specifically, the event will use P1’s all-new, 3-mile Treasure Coast Circuit, one of two unique road courses being developed for the complex, the other being the 4.5-mile P1 Circuit intended for use by members of the private P1 Members’ Club.
“The Treasure Coast Motorsports Complex gives us an exciting new setting for our 36th year,” said Redman, adding that the “circuit’s layout and flexibility will allow Targa participants to drive their cars as they were intended to be driven.”
While more details are expected to be announced closer to the event, the weekend will feature dedicated sessions for vintage race cars, historic open-wheel racers as well as more modern sports and racing cars, with run groups based on vehicle era and performance.
