Jack The Bike Man

We were happy to provide bikes to Lake Worth Community Middle School! 🙌🏽 🚲 as part of our Joyful Giving program.

Huge thank you to The Breakers Palm Beach for their incredible generosity.

They donated 38 bikes, along with helmets and accessories, which will be used to support both our community programs and bike shop operations, helping us get more bikes into the community while sustaining the work we do every day.

Support like this goes a long way in keeping our mission moving forward, and we’re grateful to partner with organizations that show up in such a meaningful way.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Admirals Cove Foundation for fully funding our proposal in support of Wheels of Hope this year.

Their support helps us provide refurbished bicycles, safety equipment, bike education, and hands-on repair instruction to children, families, and individuals in need across northern Palm Beach County.

Because of this investment, we’re able to keep creating access to transportation, safety, and opportunity for the people we serve.

Want to make a real difference for Jack the Bike Man? We’re looking for volunteers who can help pick up donated bicycles. If you have access to a truck, your support can have an immediate impact. Volunteers can borrow one of our trailers if you have towing experience and feel comfortable driving with one attached. With our small staff (that’s our executive director, Alejandro, picking up bicycles!), this behind-the-scenes help keeps bikes moving into the hands of those who need them most. Your time can help keep our mission moving forward, literally. 🚲

Your reminder that access matters. A reliable bike can mean getting to a job interview, keeping a steady shift, bettering one’s life or simply being able to show up. 🚲

Please join us in giving big gratitude to our friends at REI… and celebrating a great start to the new year! We just picked up more than a dozen bicycles and additional gear from the REI store in Palm Beach Gardens as part of our partnership as their local co-op nonprofit, and are picking up more from their Boca Raton location soon too. Through a two-year grant from the REI Cooperative Action Fund, we’re also expanding access to bicycles and the joy and freedom that come with them.
